Step 14 - Success / Failure Stories

Of course, it was a good experience, in terms of experience with the tracker and data, but it seems to me that is where we will not be able to earn any money (daily).
Maybe I'm wrong.
Im using Mobipium with Popcash
happens to me too, i found 2 Geos and good websites ID after a day the AP goes from 0.05$ to 0.00$
i did a 2nd retest i found another 2 Geos after a run of few hours the AP goes from 0.04$ to 0.00$ again
So for me its impossible to earn money more than wasted to test and optimize, Talked with AM and he said the traffic quality is low.View attachment 7606
You could try some of the other offers available on MOBIPIUM. They have many in their Market with static payouts:

The goal of this campaign/course is to learn what you two have shown you've learned. How to actually analyze and optimize. The payout changing in the MOBIPIUM smartlink do make it complicated for optimizing. That is not the case with most affiliate offers.

Also, you can use what you learned in this campaign to setup a campaign for our contest using Monetizer. They have smartlinks, but they have much higher payouts. They also have a push smartlink that pays a revshare, which is different than what MOBIPIUM offers with the adjusted payouts.

You've taken something that is fairly complicated and figured it out. Now, you can apply that to new campaigns :)

Also, I love the back-and-forth discussion in this thread. That's what I had always hoped affLIFT would turn into. Friendly help and discussions 👍

Luke, thank you for the answer!
My main question is how to choose offers?

Here's just an example for you - there is advertising through Google ads or Bing, I can see the keywords, based on this I can make an approximate analysis of the possible success of my advertising campaign.

How to be here?

Yesterday I tested the offer (online game) in one GEO (Poland), as a result of 1 conversion per 16,000 clicks. This is a complete failure.

The main difficulty for me personally is to choose a proposal, I can’t do an analysis of what might be a successful campaign, and what a complete failure.

Please give some advice. Which offer or vertical can I choose for www.popads.net?

Hi Luke,
This was a really reassuring post, thank you for the wise words. I too have been experiencing the same problem and saw the sudden drop in the AP, which was a bit alarming as I was making a profit at the time! I'm going to explore Monetizer as you suggested and keep on with Mopibium. Wld you still advise we keep to the same traffic source?( I am content to keep the budget low for the moment) Thanks again, that was really motivating! :)

Yes min payment is 100$ and you have to send invoice when currrent month ends to get your money.

Hi guys
FYI the info from Mobipium's FAQ's on payment:

"2. Is there a minimum or limit amount for payments?

Yes, we have and here you can check the conditions:

  • Wire Transfer: starting on USD100 – no limit.
  • Paypal: starting on USD100 to USD500.
  • Paxum: starting on USD100 to USD1000.
  • ePayments: starting on USD100 to USD5000.

3. What happen if I don’t reach that minimum?

If you don’t reach the minimum for your payment method, you can choose a different one or just wait until your pending invoices overpass the minimum required.

In case you are not working anymore with MOBIPIUM and want to cash out, in that case there is no minimum for Paypal, Paxum and ePayments."

It looks a little unclear, but it seems to be that there may be no minimum for payment through Paypal

This applies with most networks although with some of them you can speak with a manager and get your money out if you really think you won't be ever sending traffic to them.

Hi Amandauk,

Nice to meet you!

Sorry if it is unclear, we do have a minimum for Paypal payments, which is $100.

Like @servandosilva said, if your intention at some point is to not work anymore with us, we recommend you to talk to your Account Manager directly to see how you can withdraw the pending amount.

If you have any further question feel free to reach us!

Regards,

MOBIPIUM Affiliates Team.

Hey there, thanks for that! That's fine, it was just a little bit confusing. Thanks again!

We have some threads that can help you find offers to test:

These can all be applied to PopAds.

Wld you still advise we keep to the same traffic source?( I am content to keep the budget low for the moment)
Yeah, PopAds is a fine traffic source for testing Monetizer offers. I do it all the time :)

Luke hi!
What do you think about offers for adults (dating) is it worth choosing targeting for category sites - for adults? I already did this, but I really wanted to hear your opinion :)

Yes, if I were running an adult offer, I would use the adult categories.

I just completed the course and I just finished my first campaign. Below are the results.
Ran a Test Campaign worldwide It was obviously in -ve ROI.
Did some optimizations and added budget of $5 ROI turned +ve.

Invested some more $$$ first Revenue became equal to ad spend and then it was less than ad spend. So, overall my campaign was in -ve ROI. I spent $50 on pop ads and made $43.6 in Mobipium. But I learned a lot like following this course I knew how to properly set up the campaign how to track it and how to optimize the campaign.

One thing that I’ll like to share with you after optimizing the campaign is that “Do not over-optimize the campaign” like at one point my campaign went in +ve ROI but I lost it because of over-optimization.

Hi Luke, after optimizing my campaign it looks like I'm profiting compared to the 1st run. It looked like 3 of the test links were not working so I removed them which I don't think I should have done that. I made about $4.00 after the optimization. I think I will go through this guide a 2nd time to get a better idea of what I'm doing. @Luke

That's awesome! Congrats on getting it profitable. I know a few people have told me they went through the guide twice and I think that's a good idea because you'll have a better handle on what's happening in the second run 👍 (plus you can skip all the boring parts like setting up the accounts)

So I have five countries that are profitable!
From what I have read, I should create a campaign for each country.
Is that right?

You could definitely do that, but there's no hard-and-fast rule that says you have to. I run this Smartlink at a couple of traffic sources and almost every campaign is a mix of several geos in one campaign, which I like because I have less campaigns to have to monitor and update.

has anybody had any luck doing this? My experience so far seems to be that a target some profitable countries but by the end of the day the campaign starts losing money. I went to the beginning and performed the test to gather information twice. Both times I came up with four in one case three in another countries that were profitable. By the end of the day they were not profitable. In each case there were totally different countries.

The offers seem to be profitable for a very short time. So my question to the forum is " has anybody been able to earn money by doing this?"
So for me this has been a big failure.
