How can I choose a reasonable bid?
Correct.Hi Luke, from this step, I got 2 things:
- firstly, I can remove push_smart_4 and keep running this campaign
- secondly, I saw South Korea is profitable, so I should break down the campaign into Geos, in this case, I just run the campaign for South Korea
Are my opinions right? please correct me if i get it wrong. Thank you so much.
I typically try to start around the average PopAds is showing and then adjust based on my EPV.How can I choose a reasonable bid?
Hi Luke, about optimize the campaign from WebsiteID,only set the [Include Websites] opinion?Or [Include Websites] and [Exclude Websites] set together? If I get some while list and some black list, can I both set in [Include Websites] and [Exclude Websites]?Will they clash with each other? You can make it so your campaign is only targeting a select group of WebsiteIDs by going to the edit campaign page and then clicking on Website Targeting and Include Websites:

You would then copy/paste in the WebsiteIDs you want to target (one per line). Click Save Changes and now your campaign will only get traffic from those specific websites
I would do one or the other. In most cases, you'll want to set a blacklist otherwise you'll get very little traffic.Hi Luke, about optimize the campaign from WebsiteID,only set the [Include Websites] opinion?Or [Include Websites] and [Exclude Websites] set together? If I get some while list and some black list, can I both set in [Include Websites] and [Exclude Websites]?Will they clash with each other?
Maybe a VPN or proxy? Why would there be US traffic?
You don't need to do anything. That is normal
Hard to say if this would get you profitable without seeing the GEO breakdown, but it sounds like a good ideaPlease advise me, I'm thinking to remove 2 more countries and target the 4 that are performing well in terms of their ROI, Cost, Revenue and Profit tomorrow. Is this broad enough?
Fantastic to hearReally great guide by the way! I gained so much valuable knowledge.
You should definitely be able to improve this. Are you sure you had the targeting setup right on your PopAds campaign?View attachment 14076
I did the first campaign on 26th Sep and optimized today, 30th Sep. Only got 3 conversions from the traffic run (optimized, removed a lot of countries) today whereas the initial campaign got me 13 conversions.
Found that my EPV is always at %0 (1st & 2nd Campaign). Was wondering if its possible if I can improve this?
By the way, awesome guide Luke!
You could try running a campaign with those top 5 countries and spending the $5 on them to see how it goes. You didn't get a lot of traffic on them since most of your budget went to ID and IN, which are countries I would pause2. When to cut lost and move on? for example, i have run $5 and gotten the result below
As you can see the top 5 countries only has less than 5 conversions, is this amount of data enough to do further optimization (running another $5 with the top 5 countries) ? or stop the campaign and move on to another offer?
I would use Conversions (ALL).3. There are several types of conversion which 1 should i use for optimization?
We have a ton of threads on it, but I go super deep on another traffic source in a video here:4. Is there any guides or post where i can deep dive into more details on analyzing and optimizing?
The model you made sounds pretty good. In most campaigns, I try to limit the variables so there's less optimization to do and you're getting a more true bid.1. Was wondering is there any funnel to optimize? for example,
1st Optimization - Turn off non performing offers, Turn off non performing countries
2nd Optimization - Turn off non performing mobile carrier, Turn off non performing model
3rd Optimization - Filter out non performing category, filter out non performing websites
and so on.....
@Luke thank you so much! i will deep dive into the threads that you have shared. You could try running a campaign with those top 5 countries and spending the $5 on them to see how it goes. For example, most campaigns you will want a single country so you don't have to optimize countries.
We have a BIG thread on optimizing here:
Your affiliate link is probably not setup properly in BeMob or your PIXEL page in BeMob. It's also possible your template for MOBIPIUM is setup wrong in BeMob.Very interesting and encouraging conclusion;
I will try these optimizations once I resolve the issue I encountered - "not able to see conversions in beMob" which I posted in step 11.
for the time being, the only thing I can do is finishing reading this course.
At least I did what I promised in the beginning - finish this course.
