Step 10 - Analyzing Your PopAds Campaigns using BeMob

Well I wasn't profitable, but for me setting up the three parts to this campaign was the most important. I have struggled for a long time understanding how to set the tracker + affiliate program + advertiser. I was very nervous waiting for my campaign to end so that I could see whether I had been successful in getting all the pieces together. Since the conversions match up, I am going to assume, I finally have an understanding of how to set things up. I can safely say, I wouldn't be able to do it without this detailed step by step here.

So wasn't profitable but I did get 20 conversions. My traffic ran somewhere between midnight and two in the morning New York time. On to the optimization now.

Try ClickDealer
I followed all the steps, pretty easy btw. but... zero conversions. :( on BeMob, but compare with Mobipium Dash and I got 24? Is the trackback not working? Should I keep going ?

Same here. i think in my case could be that i took the postback url form here:

And it is httpS instead of http if i choose it ftom mobipium template as @Luke says in the thread. Everything else is the same.

:)

edit...> Yeah, that solved my problem. :) conversions appear in bemob right now.

That seems odd. Please check the step where you setup the postback from BeMob on MOBIPIUM. You can take a screenshot of the PIXEL page on MOBIPIUM and post it. That should help debug this issue.

Great, you won't be profitable at first. That's why you have the optimizations steps. Everything is setup properly though so I am glad you got that right 👍

Hmm, the https shouldn't matter. I just checked and mine is still http. You do need to make sure the {tid} and {pay} are showing in your postback. If not, that would be the issue (yours is showing now).

the problem is solved. I forgot to fill in this section

Glad you got it resolved 👍

Thank you very much for sharing, I have always been impressed with PopAds because there is too much bot traffic

I am going to optimize popads now and spend the other $5. When I first looked at my reports, I thought I would only target South Africa, Argentina, UAE and Columbia.

But I am wondering if I should see what is happening with Brazil because it did a good amount of traffic and 2 conversions? Is it worth it to add it, too?

Hey @rfelps ,

How are you?
Seems like there is a problem with the integration, please reach your AM.

Regards,

MOBIPIUM Affiliates Team.

Based on the data in your screenshot, I would not pursue Brazil.

When optimizing website IDs, how far profitable would you want?

What I mean is - I deleted all the negative ROI.

Now, I have alot in the green. The ROI ranges from 20% to 15,000%. Would you run everything that is profitable or do you get rid of the lower performing ones, as well.

Do you have somewhat of a benchmark for what you are looking for?

I typically optimize for green so anything that is profitable, I will keep running and then optimize as I collect more data on each one :)

@Luke after launching the campaign these are my results 😅 😅 , it should be clarified that I have not optimized anything, what I am supposed to do now 😅

Pretty awesome results. Keep going through the course 👍

I don’t understand why there are countries of Europe on the screens of Luke?
I don’t even have them on the list.

Hi!
I was excited to see I made a small profit with this campaign after narrowing the countries.I want to continue with this campaign, I have 2 questions please: 1. How do you narrow your web and category ID's? Is this through pop ad or BeMob? 2. I don't really have enough data yet on whether the time of day is important - if eg my best country is in South America, should I wait to kick off till daytime/evening?
Here's my results for the promising offers (I cut one of them when I was weeding out the countries)
They are all green which is nice to see!
Thanks!

New advertisers on PopAds do not get access to those countries until they've spent $5,000. Work with the countries you have access to 👍

All optimizations occur on PopAds. You can break down the data in BeMob.

2. I don't really have enough data yet on whether the time of day is important - if eg my best country is in South America, should I wait to kick off till daytime/evening?
I wouldn't worry about day parting right now until you have a lot more data. Plus, everything you are showing is looking good! Don't over optimize. Keep working on growing that profit :D

Quick question for @BeMob , or @PopAds -

There are some variables in PopAds traffic that i would like to optimise for but they don't show up in BeMob reporting... yet...

Does anyone know if it's possible to report back whether or not the impression was a 'PrimeSpot' one and also if it was a Popover/Popunder/Tabunder etc?

Many thanks if so, np if not :geek:

(Could not find them in the PopAds list here so I'm thinking not but i might be missing something so thought what the heck lets post)

Does not look like it's possible. Double checking with the PopAds owner.
