Hello everyone.
I'm currently setting up my first real campaign and there is something I'm not sure about.
I'll be split-testing 4x carrier billing offers that run in France. All 4 offers are for the same mobile carrier in that GEO and they all have similar payouts and caps. So far so good on the offer side. I have set up everything fine in my tracker (BEMOB).
My question is now the targeting options in popads.
Let's say that the offer runs in France, carrier: Orange.
My confusion and question 1: I can't get my head around how popads can target carrier if the person is on WIFI for example. Can popads detect the carrier even if the user is on WIFI?
I'm therefore confused by the "connection targeting" type settings.
In popads, this is what I see and what I have filled in so far:
As you can see, I selected "Orange" in the ISP section but what do I put in the "connection types" box?
And what about the "Connection speeds" - Do I need to choose "cellular / carrier" in there (for the carrier selection to work) ?
