Not sure to understand where you're getting this warning

If it's on your landing page, why not use cloudflare instead of let's encrypt SSL, like you did for the tracker?

I am running direct offers, yesterday I found out that once the campaign link loads Chrome blocks it...

And today I switched to Let's Encrypt, and I get a blank page

So, my question is, if you or someone has experience, how much people will bypass this or disable the page unsafe warning with chrome? Do I loose a lot of clicks?

I realised that Chrome is blocking my pages as not secure so spent my day learning server managment, in the end I managed to get Let's Encrypt SSL to my tracker address, but Chrome still marks the redirects as not secure, any advice @JackySan or anybody? Also, what do you think how much clicks am I loosing because of this?

I am using Cloudflare and haven't had any issues.

I’ll run some campaigns with Bing next week and see how this goes, in any case, as I understood, Lets Encrypt should be stronger since it’s not shared SSL unlike Cloudflare... I’ll still try to find some info, since SSL is for the domain on which WP is installed, and that domain is used to make my campaign links, so I need to see why SSL is not passed to those links...

Ah I see what's happening now. You're cloaking your affiliate link, so it's loaded in an iframe.

Your tracking link is loaded over https - but your affiliate link has a redirect chain involving some http urls. Chrome blocks it because your main url is on https and it won't let you load an http url in an iframe.

Does your affiliate network have an option to force secure redirects? If yes, enable that.
If not, then you'll need to load your campaign link through http instead of https.

But in any case, do NOT launch your campaign like that. It won't work.

Well, I’ll try to forse https through my server, if it doesn’t work, I’ll try with http... not sure if I can forse https redirects through my affiliate network the other way...

I think Iframing can cause the problem as @JackySan mentioned, have you fixed this ?.

Not yet, yes, the problem is Iframing, I didn't have much time over the weekend, I'll see what can be done tomorrow... it's giving me hell, but I figure, I learned everything in affiliate marketing by bashing my head in a wall, so I'm used to it

In the end I switched back to Cloudflare, will test links to see if https is possible, if not I'll run campaigns on http, will probably post a follow allong for a Bing campaign soon, maybe it wouldn't be bad to have more threads focused on PPC, recently I figured that minimum deposit is same for Bing as for PopAds, $10 so I decided to focus on high intent and quality traffic a bit more...

No, what I recommend doing (and what I'm doing right now) is using the default tracking domain from PeerFly and using Cloudflare to add SSL to my tracking link from my tracker (currently PeerClick).

So, the user click flow is:

https:// my PeerClick tracking link
http:// trkur PeerFly tracking domain
https:// whatever the offer landing page is

Hasn't caused any issues. I was thinking earlier today that I should add an A Record to my PeerFly account for my tracking domain and just use http (remove the SSL from that A Record by clicking the cloud on the DNS record) so I'm still using a custom tracking domain, but it doesn't seem to be impacting my campaigns not having one.

Ok, thanks, than I'll use links provided by PeerFly for now... and what was the problem with Cloudflare, clicks are not tracking or conversions not firing, just so I know since I didn't notice anything strange, neither with clicks nor conversions although I didn't have many

I think Bing is ok with http for now, they approve campaigns, I'm more worried about customers, but even with secure lander they have to land on http campaign eventually...

The country detection was kind of messed up because of the way Cloudflare handles GEO headers.

Ok, thanks a lot! Well, at least something good came out from my messing with the servers, I learned about that problem... but on the other hand, I like to test everything, not just offers

@Dragan89 keep in mind that http is much faster than https, if I don't have to, I will not use https .
