For the Email Advertisers - Are you using Single Opt In or Double Opt In?

Quick question as i wanna build a list on my own but i am unsure if i should go the SOI or DOI Route? I suppose with DOI the open rates are higher but it also means that you most likely have less subscribers on your list. If you are using DOI, what does your confirmation page look likes? Do you send them to a offer after they confirm it, do you send them an email straight away? Curious to hear your strategies! If anyones wondering, Niche is Gambling/Casino/iGaming.
