almost noob

Hello all,

I started AM in adult vertical 20 years ago when it was much more easier than today
it was the time of the toplists and TGP
Earnt some money but had to stop for family reasons

In 2015 I started promoting jewelry via shareasale
using google adwords and social traffic
ROI was < 0, stopped after 18 months

Started AM again 2 months ago, now with media buying only (popup & banner display)
I spent near $300 and got just a few conversions on CPA offers : ROI < 0
Tested adult offers (with crackrevenue) which are much more competitive than 20 years ago

I really need to get a positive campaign!
My experience is too old and that's why I consider myself almost noob in AM
To achieve it, I try what I read being an easy offer to convert : sweepstake / win an iphone
I'm using push traffic + popups
I focus on France (because my country) and Portugal (because Tiers 2 is said to be easier)

btw, I am a freelance, software engineer
I wrote my own tracker, using python + postgresql, hosted on a VPS
I prefer that over using a ready to use tracker b/c
