Having Success with Revcontent Push. Why I'm Still Frustrated

I'm running a Clickbank health offer at 97% ROI using Revcontent's push notifications. Sounds great, right?

Well the issue is the inconsistency of the traffic. For instance, here are my stats over the past 10 days (ignore the zero conversions data as I am not sending them that info):

Raised the bid from .035 cents to .04 on Dec 14 after having a big day. As you can see, the numbers really did not pop again until today

Also, there are 30 widgets being targeted, yet one of them is getting 65% of the traffic. I have even tried raising the bids on others, but no action. And I have seen this happen on multiple push campaigns on many geos with RC

Anyone else running push on Revcontent and seeing the same thing?

One more question: do Taboola and Outbrain offer push traffic, and if so, are they more lax on their approvals than for native?

Probably because of the competition. Others are bidding higher than you. About the days when you are getting more traffic, it's probably cause' the higher bidders stopped their campaigns.

Am sure this is what happened.
it happens a lot, just raise your bid to the point where you still winning, and leave it, if others are bidding higher than you just leave them, they will pause their campaigns, cus most of them will not have a positive ROI.

you can also try to get in touch with your account manager so you get an idea of the average bid and why you are not getting traffic a lot.

If I had a 97% ROI I would double my bid and see what happens. Most of your competition has a much smaller ROI than that. Having a 50% ROI and making this a CPA network manager's cap problem is a good thing.

I guess a better question would be, does Revcontent have a much smaller push inventory than other networks? I've run a bit of traffic on a couple other networks, and got flooded with clicks even at the minimum bid

Did this, and the same pattern occurred

I guess Revcontent push is "all or nothing"

Tested on Propeller. ROI was well over negative 100% on $800 spend

Got my once a week pop on Revcontent again today! Day is not over and it has spent more than the previous 6 days combined
Sounds like you have a strategy lol

This is the damndest thing ever. This campaign pops with traffic every Monday, with zero tweaks on my part.

3 hours into the day, I already have more impressions than any day since last Monday

Same story this Monday, although it really blew up today. $408 revenue on $53 spend. The previous 6 days, $24 spend total

I don't have experience with RevContent, but my 2 cents would be to call them on the phone. If that's not possible, chat with them on Skype. If that's not possible, email with them. Someone has the answer to this.

What offers were you running on clickbank, the offer itself can be a factor.

Well, I have stopped seeing massive spikes on Mondays. Which is not good, because those days usually brought some very nice profits. I have started a few more campaigns on there for other offers. It's a small profit

A rep did reach out to me but did not address this
