I’m a complete newbie to Affiliate Marketing, though I have a background in programming/development. Over the past few days, I finally stopped reading and started doing. I set up my tracking infrastructure and launched my very first campaign.
As the title says, it didn't end well—I spent about $30 and got exactly ZERO conversions. But I’m looking at this as tuition paid. I'd love to share my setup, my stats, and my hypotheses to see if you guys can point out the blind spots in my strategy.
Since the offer is a sports streaming service, I didn't want to just direct link and pray. I vibe-coded a custom, mobile-optimized prelander using a classic "cliffhanger" psychological angle to boost my CTR.
