Awhile ago, I had the idea to add a Public section to affLIFT where anyone could come and view actual threads and discussions we have going on in the community. These aren't threads specifically created for the Public section. These are active discussions on the topics that we all as affiliates care about.

I typically move 1 thread a week to the Public section from the main forum.

@Luke an idea to consider:

For our Afflift referral links, they currently point to the Afflift homepage. It might be better to point them to your Public section instead. This way any potential new subscribers can start reading / getting a feel for what Afflift offers, and being primed to subscribe, before reaching a login page or a paywall (2 early barriers that can lower the subscriber conversion rate).

I noticed this could have been helpful for me about an hour ago. I was telling someone online about Afflift and ultimately sent them my Afflift referral link. However, as I was doing it I was aware that it would have been more valuable to him if I had linked him to your Public section instead.

You can actually point your affiliate link to any page on affLIFT. You simply need to add your referral tag to the end of the link. For example, if you wanted to link to the Public section with your affiliate tag included, you would use this link:

https://afflift.com/f/forums/public/?r=95493

You simply add ?r=95493 to the end of any affLIFT link and you will get the referral credit for any new member registration
