Domain Expiry and Push Lists

Hey, I'm collecting push subs for a while and in order to do that we all need a Domain that's just used to host the sw.js, personally I run on Monetizer but I know a lot of people also use Propush.me, a question that I recently asked myself what actually happens when the domain that I linked to monetize expires because I doesn't renew it will therefore all my push subs worthless because it's not sending out Push notifications anymore or what would happen, because I got a .io domain and renewal is pretty expensive compared to .xyz I planned to take make a cut not renewing the .io that I used for the last year and just go with.xyz from now on but is it even worth it letting the domain
