This has actually been one of my most popular posts on Twitter. I don’t know if you’ve ever run into the nightmare of Claude accounts getting banned,
but at least on Chinese Twitter, it’s probably the #1 complaint.
I personally had three Claude accounts banned in a row. Out of frustration, I started testing different fixes. Finally, I found a setup that has been working — my current account has stayed safe for more than 2 weeks (I’ll update if things change).

Here are the key things to check or adjust:
- Fingerprint browser – One environment per Claude account. Don’t mix them.
- Fresh virtual card – If an account gets banned, create a new one and use a fresh virtual card to subscribe.
- Clean residential IP – Not datacenter IPs. You need to find a proper residential one.
- VPN with tun mode – Run Claude through a tunnel mode VPN.
- Windows time zone – Set it to US Pacific Time.
