Hi Guys!

Very exciting to post my first thread here! Learned a lot from you guys but i still need some help :)

I am a newbie trying to run CC submit FR sweeps. I tested with some prelanders (prize boxes, survey styles) and i entertered one problem: my CTR is very low! basically 1-3%, and sometimes one LP has 6-8% CTR but its because that LP are designed to no exit(users click on boxes and then there's a pop up to continue to offer page, no close button for the pop up).

I use push traffic btw.

So what is your average CTR mates?
Is my CTR normal?
Any other ways to improve CTR?

Thanks for your ideas in advance~

There are going to be a lot of factors that impact CTR. My ad CTR on push is low on some ad networks and higher on others. For example, the same exact ad has less than 1% CTR on Zeropark and a 4-6% CTR on PropellerAds. Just depends on the ad network and the audience.

My CTR on the landing page for that offer has been up to 50%. Again, just depends on the traffic.

My recommendation is to always be trying to improve your CTRs by testing new creatives, but also to make sure you are focused on conversion. The amount of clicks doesn't matter if you're not generating conversions :)

thanks for replying Luke!

btw how is your CR? i mean, even though my CTR is low, after 2 or 3 days i can still get over 100 clicks or even 200 clicks, but no conversion. i use 2 advertisers' offers, they are converting sometimes, but from time to time it happens that there's no conversion at all for over 100 clicks, what should i do to fix it?

CR will fluctuate, but once you're driving significant traffic you should be able to get a good idea of what your average is:

Your landing page is likely the cause of the inconsistent conversions, but it is possible that the offer just isn't great and you should continue researching those :)

EDIT: the screenshot above is from Monetizer and my smart fallback is causing some inconsistency that doesn't show in the screenshot CR, but the majority of the conversions on the main offer and the CR overall has been fairly consistent despite some fatigue (and this same campaign being run by like 50 other advertisers right now lol).

thanks Luke~ any suggestion to improve or get new LP? since i already tried with Suryvey and Boxex style landers spied. i just don't know why my CTR way lower than average since i use landers others using.
here are my LPs:

And according to your experience, is FR a Geo kind of hard to get high CTR and CR? Maybe i should try more T2, T3?

Its always good to have 2-3 sets of different creatives for your campaign, I agree with Luke that the traffic source is a crucial element and you can have a completely different CTR on each network, each network have different sources and different traffic behavior.
So usually what I would suggest is to try different networks and switch creatives accordingly and see which creatives have the best CTR on the particular network and start learning from there.

Consider giving a shot to EZmob we have solid volumes of PPV and Push direct publisher all over the world.

After checking both of your landers, the CTR doesn't seem to be that low for me.
Those landers are focused on engagement and interaction, which means people clicking through them (except bots) are highly likely to convert if you have a good offer.

If you had simpler landing pages you might have a 20% CTR but a lower CR.
Where are you hosting your landers?

I see an issue with the first one you'll want to fix:

Overall though, the landers look fine. I don't speak french so I can't really say about the copy. Pretty standard landers of that type though.

The push notification ad is a big part of the combination too. Make sure you're using your ad to push the user to convert as well.

Hi Luke! I think it's because you click on browser translation? the countdown is by JS codes so translation fails. if you don't click to translate it's good. And i agree with you on the ads! maybe i need to test more ads everyday, i just use 3-5 push creatives and not updating them on daily basis (but it's because i dont know how to update, since creavtives i spied are mostly a bell icon and words of congrats etc. so i dont know what's new to update with...)

thanks mate, i try EZmob when i got my CTR thing fixed!

IMO FR is a tougher GEO for starting with CC submits. You might try some other ones to start. FR has insane volumes of traffic, so you're going to be competing with the big dicks.

"Cadeaux destinés aux membres de Firefox.Inc" = "Gifts for members of Firefox Inc"
people are not members of Firefox Inc
"Firefox Inc" doesn't even exist - Firefox belongs to the Mozilla foundation

"Gifts for Firefox users" would make better sense
in french: "Cadeaux aux utilisateurs de Firefox"

thanks for the tip mate! yeah maybe i should go for "user of FIrefox"

yes Nick you are right! and mabye FR ctr are meant to be way lower than T2, T3 geos. i will try more with T2,T3 sweeps, is that a better idea for me to kick off in sweeps vertical?

I would. FR is tough even if you port a 100% proven funnel there. It's not impossible, but there are certainly easier geos for that vertical :)
