Hi guys, so I have been dealing with some health problems for the past few months and haven't been as active as I would have liked with the affiliate stuff. Barely had enough energy to work at my day job. But I have been running offers since the past month and recently came across a private casino offer in YepAds. Shoutout to Steven from YepAds who was as enthusiastic as ever to work with me even after I had stopped sending traffic for a few months. Anyway, I was running the CPL version for past few days and here were my results :

The 12 and 14 are the total number of conversions (These are basically two different landing pages offered by the Advertiser for the same offer)
The 2 and 1 are the number of deposits (So 3 deposits out of 26 leads)

Now I am getting paid $12 per lead, and the CPA is $128...so technically I should have made a profit if I just sent offer to the CPA version previously. But, that's fine. The offer hasn't even been optimized. I am testing 7 landers and multiple creatives and still getting a KPI of over 10% in my initial testing. So I will be running the CPA version from here on out.

Affiliate Network : YepAds
Landing Pages Used : 7
Creatives : 8
Geo
: Tier 1
Traffic : Propeller Ads (branching out to different networks)
Payout: $128

Let's do this!

Looking forward to this :)
Wouldn't you be better at getting more data on CPL initially and once you single out the best performing segments move to CPA?

Update, got my first deposit already. I set up the offer on @Zeropark also, and that's where I got my conversion. The propeller campaign hasn't gotten any significant traffic yet. Will keep you guys updated as often as possible

Spent: $40
Leads: 3
Deposits: 1
Revenue: $128

I am using 7 landers so this is going to require a while to optimize I guess

That's what I would usually do tbh, but idk I never get deposits so early on with a completely new campaign and casino brand. The fact that I got 3 even with an unoptimized campaign, I just decided to jump in

BTW, how are you feeling better!

Yes! Some remnant issues, but they are more annoying than debilitating!

And one thing I realized is that, media buying is NOT like riding a bike. You don't always pick up where you left off. My risk tolerance and patience had disappeared and I made multiple rash decisions too. But the forum kept me motivated, I basically went back to basics and am working my way up again :D

Propeller has joined the party too. One deposit done. The stats for Propeller are a bit messy for today because first I was running CPL which can be seen by the 8 leads and 1 deposit and then swapped it out for the CPA offer which I got a deposit from my first lead itself.

Hopefully, this is not just beginner's luck and I can really blow this out of the park!

I will hopefully be back tomorrow with some good results.

Another update :

Campaign doing well on Propeller, my Zeropark balance ran out, I have decided to focus on Propeller and use their awesome audience retargeting feature to try and get more deposits. Since I am running with 7 landers, I will find the best performing combo and take it back to Zeropark and other sources later.

I found out from my CPL data that Android 10 had spent the most amount of money and did not get me a single lead, so while starting this CPA campaign I removed that version. And now, find the results below :

My CPL during my initial testing was : $12.5 per lead
Just by removing Android 10 (no other optimization) : Just under $4 per lead :O

Although, the worrying point is that my reg2dep ratio has reduced, so Ill be using the propeller Audience feature and try to score some more deposits

And, now just to display my bad luck, I forgot to swap out links from CPL for one of the variations of my campaign and that one lead gave me a deposit FFS. Sucks that I could have made $128 instead of $12 from that one if I didn't' forget to swap out that link :(

Also, would like to add that my AM is trying to negotiate a hybrid deal for me from the Advertiser, so that I can get paid for both CPL and CPA. Hopefully that comes through

I said today that I would be re-targeting leads from @PropellerAds through their Audience feature...and this is an absolute game-changing feature from them. Here are the results, might just be luck, but I see no reason why it shouldn't keep working like this.

Here's what you do.

Step 1: Make sure your tracker is sending lead postback (from your CPA campaign) to your traffic source. Easy with @Voluum

Step 2: Track these conversions in Propeller Ads through their audience feature (Call them leads)

Step 3: Now create a separate remarketing campaign for just this audience. Also exclude this audience in your original campaign so that your ad does not get shown to people who have already converted.

Step 4: Direct link this campaign directly to the offer page

Step 5 : Profit πŸ€‘πŸ€‘πŸ€‘

seriously 0.41$ cost and you got lead how is that possible?
I explained above what I was doing, I was retargeting my leads from the campaign and trying to get them to make a deposit :)

Fantastic results. Hope it' keeps going this way!

Since my last update, I have managed to get 7 more deposits and 64 more leads. I am still retargeting using audiences however, haven't managed to score any more deposits that way. I tried in-page push (bombed horribly)

Here's a rough breakdown of all the campaigns . Its all messy with multiple campaigns for user activity etc etc. I am going to customize my landing page and start collecting emails from tomorrow since I believe this has the potential to be a big campaign. taking it one step at a time though.
Below image is all of my campaigns. Slightly in profit. Landing pages have reduced from 7 to 3 now. Since the other 4 had 2x-3x the CPL than the 3 still running.

Super interesting. Hope you see a few more big deposits :D

Won't be any new updates for 1-2 days. I am setting up my email server and modifying my landing pages to collect emails but not finding enough time to do that. Hopeful that it will be done by tomorrow and will post an update then :)

Collect subscribers and put them in a 7-day sequence to get more deposits. And then use this list later to cross-promote other offers, different casino brands etc. Haven't really planned it out yet. But I think building this asset would be a good thing and I think I can look at ways to further monetize this in the long term
