Hi,
I have been struggling with Revcontent lately and was wondering if anyone at AffLift has had any experience or success targeting internationally (not US or Canada) on Revcontent recently?
For example, I am targeting Australia as a geo.
I get the following results:
Voluum tracker shows that around 60% of the traffic is suspicious and 15% coming from US and about 80% from my targeted country (another 5% from other random geos).
When I look at the sites where the traffic is coming from then the majority are something like this.
{$somerandomUScityname}examiner.com
{$somerandomUScityname}valleyvoice.com
etc.
or
just some random letter combination, for example
krgv.com, kvia.com (Page title shows ABC 7 kvia, ABC Channel 5 news or something similar that looks fishy).
Are these real sites or am I just being screwed over by Revcontent? I doubt that Australians are so interested in some US small town local news that the traffic could be authentic.
Does anyone have ideas how to effectively filter out such traffic before I pay for it? Revcontent still seem to have a few decent placements but they are very expensive to find to have any chance to be
