I am looking for a tracker and have not decided yet, whether I want to go for a cloud-based or self-hosted tracker.
Is there a large peformance difference (load times/redirect speed) between the two options, or can a self-hosted tracker perform equally well, given i use a powerful server in the right GEO (near users) together with a premium DNS service (e.g. CloudFlare) to improve DNS resolution time?
I am currently on the fence between Thrive/Voluum vs. Binom + CloudFlare DNS.
