So here I am with a lifetime membership after seeing someone mention affLIFT on reddit despite a search for the term coming up with nothing.
I've never made any significant money online. I tried and failed spectacularly on ecom (mostly because of stubbornness and sticking to my newbie intuition). I got allured by affiliate marketing by the lower barriers to entry and the ability to keep doing micro experiments. I'd like to generate some cash for my second act in ecom.
I bought a video course recently for affiliate marketing (it was $297 I think). But it was focused on FB and Google ads with some SEO. Being a longtime spectator of MMO I've been on the sidelines for what seems like forever. The reason why I jumped in on affLIFT is because I was familiar with Luke's blog. I remember the first time I came across his blog and he was honestly a mystery. Here he was dropping a lot of knowledge without trying to sell anything. So I was shocked that his blog and Peerfly are no more. Knowing he was behind affLIFT and seeing the sample threads made it a no brainer.
I've spent a ton of money during black Friday on various video courses mainly on ecom and the one affiliate course. The current trend is video combined with private Facebook groups but I needed something like affLIFT because I find the text and pictures format a lot more engaging. While the video courses are great, the private groups aren't really all to active and Facebook really sucks for in depth interactions and most people dropping value are trying to sell you something.
The reason why I chose affLIFT is:
I would have never joined this forum if Luke wasn't involved because of all the good vibes surrounding him and reading his blog a while back. It was plain to see his influence here on the public threads and the decades of networking bringing together so many awesome people from across the industry. Setting up the "machine" of ads, tracking, and affiliate account took me 30-45 minutes max. Doing that myself would have taken months due to the limited time I have from working a day job. Also I don't think I would have gotten approved by MOBIPIUM in a matter of hours (mostly from time the timezone difference) if I didn't make it clear I came from affLIFT (I clearly stated I was a complete newb to Manuel and he set me up with a very helpful affiliate manager).
So thank you Luke for creating this! I'll see all of you in the other threads!
If you got this far, thanks for reading this rambling. I am open to any and all advice and will try my best to give value as best I can as a fresh newb swimming in a shark pool!

The reason why I chose affLIFT is:
- Unbeatable value for the price (lifetime membership equivalent to 3 months of STM, count me in)
- New year, new forum, new me
- Learn how to market with affiliate offers
- Build out affiliate/authority sites with slow and steady SEO (mostly whitehat with some careful link buying and focus on quality content)
- Jump back into ecom if I get cashflow (mostly thinking of POD aka Print on Demand since dropshipping is high churn with long shipping times susceptible to China's situation whether it's trade wars or the corona virus)
- Maybe branch out into various product oriented ecom if I can fund US based shipping
- Generate money for investments like REITs or even real estate for my financial future
