Video is highly underrated in affiliate marketing. Not many affiliates are using them, but they can be a great way to give your ads or landing pages a boost in conversion rate (pique interest, show what something does fast, etc.).
Using GIFs can have the same effect, but there’s a problem with that - GIF file sizes are, on average, 5 - 10 times larger than an optimized MP4 video file. That’s huge and can have a massive impact on the loading speed of your landing page.
So, video is the answer if you want to show off what you’re promoting with more than a static image. It’s important that you’re optimizing the files to suit your needs, though; by doing this, you can reduce the file size by over 95%!

Step 1: Visit the free VideoSmaller.com video compression tool
Step 2: Add your video file (MP4 preferred; I’ve found they’re typically already smaller than .mov files by a large margin).

- Use low compression level (best quality) - this option will give you
