So while I'm using my Company account to start this topic, this is not to advertise anything, I am an actual person and don't have another account to use.
First I borrowed this graphic:
Lots of interesting potential implications here, four questions from the top of my head:
1) where is the line for what will pass as AI created content?
For example, I used AI for proofreading of a human text, it may have suggested one or two changes, does it mean that once the text was copied and pasted into a prompt for proofreading, that it will be AI content watermarked?
I also use AI for translations to German (I am fluent, but it's faster to just AI translate an English text to German and then proofread it / adjust it)
2) what will be the effect on web search and rankings?
The search has dramatically transformed with the whole AI search optimization (signals and more).
I'd assume that the manual vs. AI content ratio may be an actual factor in ranking a site?
I saw some entirely AI content generated and automated sites with totally bogus factual content rank very high in
