What happens if your push-collecting landing page gets flagged by GSB?

Got hit by GSB yesterday, and by this evening, all my push subscribers have unsubscribed.

Is there really no way to safeguard push subscriptions when things like this happen? I just set up a new domain and added the push code, but I'm hesitant to start again. it was much easier when it wasn't push that was triggering these type of notification, all you had to do was change the domain and move on. But now, with push subscribers involved, it hits differently
