One of the most interesting follow alongs Iโ€™ve seen lately is AdX Arbitrage by @rtushar. He shared some really interesting things there, be sure to check it out.

@Utkarshpatel also started his follow along here, but he mentioned that he doesnโ€™t know how to track performance per push zone.

I suggested that he try Google analytics using UTM tags. Since I promised that I might write a quick guide about itโ€ฆ well, here it is.

@rtushar mentioned that in AdX arbitrage, the key objective is to make users show maximum ad impressions. So, you need a way to track user page views at least. Also, tracking user engagement might come in handy when buying push traffic, to check which zones are sending bot traffic.


What are UTM tags?

UTM tags, short for Urchin Tracking Module tags, are snippets of text added to the end of a URL to track and monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. They provide valuable insights into where website traffic originates, helping marketers understand which campaigns, channels, or sources are driving visitors to their site.
