Voluum bad experience - Am I unreasonable to ask for a refund ?

I used Voluum long time ago but then switched to Binom because it's much cheaper and offers no limitation in terms of impression/event which is suitable for my POP campaigns . Recently I decided to give Voluum a try again and go for their 1-year individual profit plan. However when trying to integrate Voluum with theoptimizer tool, I figured out that the Voluum individual plan does not support API access which means I can't connect theoptimizer to Voluum. This comes to me as a big surprises because nowadays API access is quite standard and I never come across any app which limits API access for their customers.

I contact my Voluum AM and he told me that API access is not available in individual plan and offer me to pay an extra 100$ to enable API access which is unreasonable I believe. So I ask if they can convert my currently annual plan to monthly plan, charge me a full price for the first month and refund me the rest but they say no according to their T&C no refund policy.

Now I'm stuck with Voluum, already paying full year cost but can't use their tracker because all my campaigns
