As a noob in CPA marketing and someone who tried hard to make it in the market trading world, I am finding quite a few similarities between the two worlds.
Here are some of them.
There are many ways to skin a cat
In the trading world, there are stocks, options, penny stocks, currencies, cryptocurrencies, binary options and more. You can be trading on the stock market, commodities market, forex, crypto exchanges, etc. You can be playing Bollinger bands, overlapping Fibonaccis, the London open, the New York close, and hundreds of other strategies. There are scalpers, day traders, swing traders, and position traders.
On this side, there are banners, emails, pops, push, social, native ads... Your pricing can be per mille, per click, per action; your payment can be per sale, per lead, revshare... There are hundreds of verticals and their subsets. You could be working with coupons and promotions, building a mailing list, retargeting... You could be doing SEO, Bing, Google, Facebook or all the ones we use here.
There's so much you can specialize in and endless combinations.
