Better late than never! My follow along is ecommerce ( print on demand physical product):
Traffic Source: SelfAdvertiser - Domain redirect-Keywords
Tracking Tool: Facebook Pixel
Affiliate Network: None - my own product
Type of Offer: eCommerce
Offer Payout: Net profit $10
Budget: $5 per day to start

I have registered with SelfAdvertiser, created a campaign and made a deposit. The campaign is awaiting approval.
Report back #1: October 21
Thanks to SelfAdvertiser for the feedback! I have created a new campaign based on the feedback. Also, neither I nor support can figure out the postback with Facebook pixel so that creates a few issues that I have worked around.
The items that I have changed:
1. Still Domain redirect with Keywords - but now using only SA selected keywords
2. Do not use Bid Optimizer because it needs a postback which is problematic.
3. Left all other pricing as the default and then set the daily budget at $20
4. Do not track conversions - the eCommerce platform will do that.
5. Selected mobile only and left all the other things as default.
