PropellerAds Contest #PA25 - Vote for your favorite follow alongs

I believe there are 5 people who had not completed the necessary requirements based on the original rule of 4 updates and $100 spend. I don't necessarily disagree with you all but I was also went with what PropellerAds decided to do because it seemed fine.

So, what I will do in this case is keep the participation prize money the same as if those 5 were not included. Each participant will receive $185. affLIFT will just pay the extra.

It is very unlikely any of the participants mentioned above will get enough votes for the big prizes but I assume you all can sort that out with your 3 votes

Let us explain everything step by step:

1. Why some participants were disqualified while others were added to the voting list?

This year, we wanted the contest to be more fun and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why we decided to make the rules a bit less strict compared to #PA24.

We only disqualified participants who violated PropellerAds’ policies and whose accounts were suspended or banned. A participant with a banned PropellerAds account cannot take part in the contest — we hope this logic is clear.

Please note that every suspension or ban is a difficult decision for us. We don’t enjoy doing that — we always prefer an active contest with many Follow Alongs. However, rules are rules, and operations security remains our top priority.

2. Why we decided to keep these participants in the voting?

Almost all Follow Alongs this year were really interesting to read, and we saw how much effort you all put into your work — including those who didn’t fully reach the required budget or number of updates.

We wanted to cheer them up and recognize their participation. It’s our way to motivate them to continue their great work with PropellerAds.

As Luke highlighted, these participants are unlikely to win, so we simply wanted to show them some support.

Regarding the LazyGuy case

Unfortunately, we noticed some violations in the campaign he used for the contest. We truly enjoyed his Follow Along; however, we couldn’t let him continue his participation.

We see that many of you appreciated his Follow Along, so we have an offer for LazyGuy and the community. We’d like to award him the Forum’s Favorite bonus ($300 with $550 deposit) as a token of appreciation for his effort and engagement.
