I'm a newbie about the login page problem

I'm a newbie and my question is that monetizer's quote link already has a landing page, so why should I make one? If I use a homemade landing page, how does the homemade landing page relate to the monetizer landing page? I had 8 landpage conversions with direct links and 1 with homemade landpages, and monetizer counts 10% of clicks with PropellerAds. How come? Please help
