How To Use the Bookmark Feature

I have been trying to organize threads and find a way for me to keep track of tidbits of information I need later. It is hard to search for something a few weeks or month down the road.

I notice when you click on a user name, beside the name it says Bookmarks. It has a search for your bookmarks but I keep trying and can't get anything saved in there.

Can someone tell me please how to save threads
