Has anyone tried an interface button as an advertising format?

I've seen this format many times. It looks so native and non-intrusive. So I am thinking about running traffic with this thing.

But I didn't see many case studies about it. So my question is: has anyone tried it before? How were the results?

Do you use an additional prelander with it or just lead straight to the offer website? I'm not sure about a prelander as it gives one more step to a user to make a target action. So what are your
