So the other day, I got a notification from Facebook Ads that my payment failed.
I went to check all my payment methods there, primary and backups, and all were valid (ie. credit cards didn't expire or something similar). I've also had funds in all my account for a payment to go thru.
What was wierd - I've tried multiple payment methods in the end - and never saw a payment attempt in my PayPal or Wise account. Usually when a successfull payment is made, you see a transaction in account. And also when payment fails, you usually see "insufficient funds" in PayPal or Wise. But this time - nothing.
So I've reached out to Facebook support via Chat:

And this is what I got from them:
