There are some in this thread that I was surprised by. Most are pretty typical though. Also, I assume there was very little effort by most to do a prompt that would make them...special?

I agree that more efforts in prompts would have made difference in result. But still those images feel same in style and aesthetic.

It's somewhat similar to what stock images used to feel. People would overlook those images. Something similar to ad blindness.

For sure. Like AI content, AI images are recognizable (for now).

After seeing so many AI images did anyone else also feel that AI images look unimaginative and uninspiring?

AI images can sometimes feel a bit generic, but I think it really depends on the image generator and the prompt used.
