I guess most affiliates today use the redirect method in their campaigns, especially when running pop traffic. But I guess some of you noticed that trackers today offer another tracking method - called pixel tracking (or no-redirect method).

So, I came up with an idea to test the click loss between the redirect method and pixel tracking. In this guide I’ll explain the differences between those 2 methods and how and when to use them.

And of course - I’ll show the results of my test in the end. For this text, I’ve picked a @BeMob tracker. It was one of the fastest trackers in my test that I did in March of 2025:



↪️ What is a Redirect Method?​

In BeMob, the redirect tracking method works by sending a visitor through your BeMob tracking link before they reach the landing page or offer. When someone clicks on your ad, they are first sent to BeMob’s tracking URL, where all the click data such as device type, location, and traffic source is recorded. After this, BeMob immediately redirects the visitor to the correct landing page or directly
