Been noticing something interesting lately with Facebook ads in 2026 and curious what the Afflift crowd thinks
With all the recent policy updates and stricter AI-based review systems Meta rolled out this year, it actually should be harder than ever to get questionable stuff live. From what I’ve read, they moved to proactive scanning (text, creatives + landing pages all together) and increased enforcement on misleading claims
BUT…
I’m seeing more and more people here running sweep offers again — stuff that used to get nuked almost instantly back in 2022–2024.
At the same time, Meta also shifted moderation in other areas toward “more speech / fewer mistakes” and relaxed certain enforcement priorities in the past year
So what’s actually going on?
Has Facebook gotten less strict in practice?
Or is it just that people adapted better (better cloaking / compliance angles)?
Or maybe enforcement is just inconsistent right now?
Would love to hear real experiences:

Would love to hear real experiences:
- Are your ads getting approved easier lately?
- Are sweepstakes actually sticking again?
- Or same old banhammer and people just cherry-picking wins?
