Will "new" accounts on facebook get banned running AF ads?

Anyone here running fb ads? if yes, I am being told:

"Facebook don't like running any affiliate product on their platform and from a "new" facebook account this account where there is no trust factor your account can get banned anytime"

Is that true or any thoughts on this please?
