The forum sidebar now features the Top Posters of the Month. I wanted to add this to the forum as a special recognition for the people who are the most active within the community. I realize not everyone is going to be as active as these guys/gals, but I appreciate their effort helping other members

I think the number of times someone receives a “like” is the measure of quality

Like everything, this is a test. If it goes well, we'll keep it. If it somehow incentivizes people to post garbage, that's easy to take care of

Honestly, you may see that with a public forum but I think it’s less likely (but possible) with a private forum.

I think a leaderboard for likes would be beneficial as well to see who’s sharing the most quality posts as well

Whilst I don't disagree with that statement, you do appreciate that it would be relatively easily to go through the forum and post numerous little snippets of rubbish?

Yeah, but why someone do that? To get on a list? I am considering maybe a monthly prize for most active members, but I could specify that requires a certain amount of likes or a % of likes compared to posts lol
