Hey Afflifters,
Here's my second contribution as part of December's contest.
I started the campaign yesterday, before going to bed . Was too tired to start the follow along.
Ok, here are the details:
Offer type: Sweepstakes
Geo: Asian country ( first time running a campaign in this Geo )
Payout: $0.30 ( very low )
Daily budget: $10 to $20
There is only 1 thing that motivated me to run this offer with such low payout and that's the cheap traffic.
Sweepstakes should convert at an average of 1% (to say the least)
(I always try to start with a hypothesis)
Could be the conversion rate reported on the affiliate network or from my previous campaigns.
So: $0.30 (payout) x 1% (conversion rate) = $0.003 per click to break even.
The traffic cost starts with $0.005 per click. So we have a good chance there.
I started the campaign targeting "All users", I personally don't split campaigns by activity level.
That metric doesn't mean anything to me at the moment. (this might change in the future )
No landing pages for now!
The offer starts with a quiz before asking the user for details.
