Recently, I started a campaign on Outbrain.
The first day, my budget got spent very quickly. Curious to see what gobbled up my budget so quickly I took a look in the publishers section.
I found a few very questionable websites that took all my budget.
When I dug deeper into these websites I found out that literally none of them had any organic traffic, some of them barely could be called a 'website', or were in a completely different language than my targeted GEO.
I just couldn't help myself wondering...
How the hell did some of these websites get through Outbrain's screening process?
Do you guys immediately disable these types of websites or is there something I'm missing
