Monetizer payment issues and PayPal removal

I recently noticed that I'm being charged extra fees for my Monetizer commission payments via PayPal. I've always been charged a 3.5% transaction fee as reported in the payment pdf they send you in email. Now, I'm seeing an additional fee applied to 5 of my last 6 PayPal commission payments as reported in the PayPal payment receipt email.

For example, my latest payment looked like this:

Gross Commission: $277.24
Monetizer Fee: $9.70
PayPal Fee: $12.01
Net Commission: $255.53

So the actual fee ends up at about 8%, which is way too high. I don't have this issue with PayPal payments from other networks.

I asked Monetizer support about this and got this reply:

"Everything is correct with the PayPal payments from our side, our fee being 3.5%. We don't have advance knowledge of what fees PayPal charge on your side. I would recommend switching payment method if possible as we will be removing PayPal completely in the next couple of months."

So, not their problem, and no more PayPal option for Monetizer.

In my account, the only other payment method available is Wire Transfer. For me, Wire Transfer fees are a fixed cost
