The most important mistake that can be mentioned about this topic is related to impatience. Most beginners just start and expect to see some great results after only a couple of weeks. If they lack to see it, they often give up and find some new niche or new network, and this can really go indefinitely. When you start you have to wait for some time to see your conversions are growing, and only if you notice that you are not receiving results for a longer period of time, you can think about changing your tactics.

Also, it's recommendable to educate about affiliate marketing and learn as much about this as possible, as it's the only way to really get into it and start making progress. It isn't enough to start with it just because you heard that someone else is making a profit by it, you have to really put yourself into the work to be ready for different situations.
