A quick suggestion on my last thread (thanks, @Nick ) gave me the push to do this properly — so here is my follow along. I run a content site that gets its traffic from Pinterest, and I am documenting the push from ~1 million impressions a month to 10 million.

How I got to 1M (the backstory)
In mid-2025 I found a content idea with real demand on Pinterest, and I knew from others running similar sites that Pinterest traffic monetises well with display ads — good RPM
The snapshot
- Traffic source: Pinterest, 100% organic — no ad spend at all
- Site: one content site, pages built with custom PHP and a database (programmatic, template-based)
- Monetisation: Journey by Mediavine (display ads)
- GEOs: USA + Canada
- Where it stands (last 28 days): 1.0M impressions, 53.9K engagements, 13.0K saves, 4.4K outbound clicks
- Goal: 10M monthly Pinterest impressions within ~6 months — and on the money side, grow the site from Journey to full Mediavine and towards $5,000/month. Longer term, I would like it to become the kind of asset that can be sold on Empire Flippers.
