After years of using Sendy for email marketing, I ran into a recurring frustration: the built-in housekeeping tools were just too basic for any serious list hygiene. You could check if someone "ever opened" or "never opened" — and that was about it. No thresholds, no date ranges, no way to combine criteria, and the only action available was permanent deletion. When you're managing thousands of subscribers across multiple lists, that's not enough. I needed a way to ask more specific questions about engagement — who received dozens of campaigns but never once opened? Who used to open but went silent six months ago? — and get actionable answers without risking data loss. So, with a little help from Claude Code, I’ve built the Engagement Filter script.
