Has anyone tested creating a custom conversion goal inside of Google and had success with results?
I have a campaign that tracks lead submits on my website that doesn't have a value assigned and then an offline purchase goal that does have a value assigned.
If I optimise for leads I seem to get way more traffic but not having a value assigned doesn't allow me to eventually obtain a tROAS bidding strategy. Where as when I optimise for the purchase goal which is an offline conversions I get less traffic but has the value assigned to optimise for actual revenue. Both goals are equally important in my business...I want to grow my email list consistently with volume everyday while making some sales on the front end to cover leads acquisition ...wondering if combining the two would help marry the 2 together and improve results?
