I found an interesting domain recommendation site on ProductHunt this morning:

You put in a keyword and it gives you recommended available domains for that keyword by modifying your keyword.
I struggle to come up with good domains and a few of these look alright for a pretty competitive term so this might be a decent tool to try if you are struggling to find a domain
