Hey everyone,
I’ve been lurking here for a while, and after seeing so many high-level discussions, I figured it was time to contribute—and hold myself accountable at the same time.
This is my first follow-along, but not my first rodeo. I’ve built and scaled multiple campaigns, mostly in lead generation across different verticals (insurance, home improvement, finance, and others). My background? Let’s just say I’m a musician who accidentally got good at marketing—not a data scientist, not a numbers guy. I learned the nerdy stuff by doing.

Why This Follow-Along?
- Accountability – I’ve built things like this before (for other people), but this time, I want to document it for myself.
- Building an Asset – A newsletter is one of the most underrated assets you can own. It compounds, can be monetized in endless ways, and if done right, is a high-margin, recurring income stream.
- Less Hands-On Revenue – As I get older (yeah, it happens), I want more recurring, semi-passive revenue instead of always chasing the next campaign.
The Game Plan
- Goal: Grow this newsletter to 100,000 users by the end of the year.
- Non-Negotiables: High engagement + ROI-positive from as early as possible.
