I haven't been very active on propellerads for quite some time and this follow along is the perfect opportunity to get back in gear. So let's get started. Firstly let's discuss the bidding strategy which I used to follow when I was more active and will continue to following in this follow along and other campaigns on propellerads as well unless performance shows any need for an adjustment.
Bidding strategy:
I always test with CPA Goal. Conservative CPA bids during tests and aggressive CPA bids during scaling. Also CPM or SCPM during scaling.
At the start of campaign, I set around 33% of the payout as my CPA Goal bid, in this case $0.1 If the campaign shows potential, I increase it to 50% a few hours later, usually the same day (CPL offers). Also if the Geo is large (high traffic), I set 25% CPA bid in the beginning. For the next 2-3 days at least I let it run at 50% bid. During this time if any zone stands out in particular, I create
