One of the most common ways affiliates get people to submit their credit card for a prize drawing is to use a quiz that makes someone seem like they may have won a prize and the amount they have to pay is for "shipping costs."
This is slightly misleading, but it's tolerated by traffic sources, affiliate networks, and the advertisers themselves.
While most of what you will see in spy tools is slightly misleading in some way, it is possible to be profitable without being misleading.
The words you use have to be carefully written, and in some cases, you can even say "chance to win" instead of "won," and people will still convert. It all depends on the content of the landing pages and how you present it to the user.
Credit card submit sweepstakes offers are so great because there are few restrictions. You can almost do whatever you want to get conversions, but do be careful with this so that you don't bring a lawsuit upon yourself.
A lawsuit most likely won't come from the affiliate network or advertiser (the offer owner), but from the consumer protection agencies in the countries you're advertising in.
