Hey, back again.
Been on and off this forum for years. Last time was over half a year ago.
Had some personal stuff to deal with. That's sorted now.
While I was away I wasn't completely idle. I had a previous email marketing journey that taught me a lot, but it lost momentum and scaling it was a real problem.

So I took that experience and started building something more thought out. About to launch a niche newsletter.
It's about marketing for local service businesses in a very specific niche. Won't be revealing the niche, but I'll document everything here. Subscribers, revenue, the whole thing.
My plan
Here is a "Flow chart" visualizing subscriber flow for my newsletter. Orange fields show how I'm going to get subscribers. Green boxes show monetization and blue are structural parts of my newsletter.
Getting subscribers
Three channels for now.
First is cold email. Going to reach out directly to business owners in this niche and offer them a free lead magnet. I don't know how this will perform. If my leads will be getting annoyed and subscribe rate will be low I will drop it.
