Guide 🔎 Difference Between Impressions and Clicks in PropellerAds 📈

I’ve noticed that some members are having trouble understanding the difference between impressions and clicks in the PropellerAds dashboard - and why visits (clicks) aren't showing up in their tracker.

Most recently, @AffiliateNate brought this up in his thread, so I decided to write a quick guide to explain what’s what when it comes to the different ad formats on PropellerAds - and what you can actually track and how.

Just a reminder: there are five different ad formats you can choose from on @PropellerAds:



Those are:

1. Onclick
2. Push Notifications
3. Survey Exit
4. Telegram Ads
5. Interstitial Ads

Onclick Ads

This is probably the format most members are already familiar with, but here’s a quick breakdown.

When a visitor clicks somewhere on a website showing Onclick ads, a new tab opens with your landing page (or your offer page if you're direct linking). Technically, your Campaign URL is what opens in that tab (the URL you entered as the Destination URL in your campaign settings).
