Best affiliate networks for beginners?

I am getting back into my media buying journey and decided to join the forum again which I am really happy about.

I was looking for some networks to join, so decided to check the directory here and applied to a network that is on the directory but got declined.

What are some good networks to join as a beginner?
I will be buying my first media through propellor ads and I noticed that some networks do not want traffic form propellor ads so this I need to take into consideration as well.

Any help would be appreciated as I am embarrassed to say, getting into media buying is quite daunting for me and it is embarrassing as I am reading posts where it seems it is really easy for a lot of the guys
