Company Guidelines

Company Membership: Rules & Guidelines

These rules apply to all Company Members, including traffic sources, affiliate networks, affiliate programs, tools, and services.

The Basics

1. Create One Official Thread
Each company gets one Official thread. Once you create your thread, we'll add the “Official” prefix. This is your company's home on affLIFT, so keep it updated instead of creating a new thread whenever you have something to share.

2. Join the Discussion
You are welcome to reply to relevant threads and participate in conversations throughout the forum. Just make sure you are contributing something useful. Share your experience, answer questions, and help our members whenever you can.

3. Set Up Your Signature
Add your company link to your forum signature. It will appear below every post you make, so you do not need to include a promotional link in every reply.

4. Keep Your Official Thread Active
We recommend updating your thread once or twice a week. Every reply will move it back to the top of the forum, but there should be a good reason for the update. Share a case study, platform news, a promo code, optimization tips, or anything else our members might find useful.

Do not reply just to bump your thread. Posting too often without anything valuable to share looks spammy and will probably do your brand more harm than good.

What We Encourage

  • Updating your Official thread with company news, new offers, and promo codes
  • Answering questions from affiliates in your thread and throughout the forum
  • Sharing useful tips, guides, and insights related to your expertise
  • Participating in case studies and follow-alongs that use your platform
  • Offering exclusive deals or promo codes to affLIFT members
  • Responding to members in a helpful and professional way

What We Do Not Allow

  • Multiple promotional threads: Keep company news and promotions in your Official thread.
  • Spam: Do not drop your link into every conversation. Add something useful or do not post.
  • Thread hijacking: Do not promote your company in another company's Official thread.
  • Over-the-top formatting: Avoid excessive emojis, ALL CAPS, and clickbait-style titles.
  • Misleading claims: Do not promise results your company or platform cannot deliver.
  • Ignoring member issues: If members report a problem with your platform, make an effort to address it.

The Golden Rule

If your post would still be useful without your company name or link attached, you're probably on the right track.

The companies that get the best results from affLIFT are the ones that become part of the community. Our members notice which companies show up, answer questions, and genuinely try to help. They also notice which ones are only here to advertise.
