What should be a sufficient period to store Campaign Details Report?

How often you view campaign details report which is older then 3 months or more then 6 months old?

Personally I think that on campaign level is fine, to hold numbers for 12-24 months, but on campaign details report it seems that there is no point to hold data which is older than 6 months.
